Home Cooked Food

If the kitchen is his strong there is nothing that you stop producing its own range of foods cooked at home. None of the preparation of homemade jams and desserts through the premium to the provision of home made "microwave food" can and has been done.

It is a tried and tested business opportunity, there are dozens if not hundreds of well-known brands and food started out as a particular person at his home in his kitchen, the latest is probably Levi Roots and his Reggae Reggae Sauce, as seen in Dragon 'S Den.

It is a big business at home if you have a passion for cooking as you almost certainly already has the equipment you need (even if your kitchen might not look as good as Jamie Oliver's). Therefore startup costs are minimal, it could even get away with only having to buy the ingredients - and if the first batch is sold is food for the family!

The downside is that you need to contact the local council and ensure that they comply with health and safety standards, which I am sure that the local councils, but not always seem to be in rapid response.

The success of the course, you do not have to be in supermarkets, instead you might want to remain small and focus on the premium of the local market, it all depends on what you want from your business.
